First of the Practical Talks
Tomorrow (Thursday) evening, Mr. A. B. Farquhar will open the series of practical talks, arranged by the Young Men’s Christian Association, to be given each Thursday evening during May and June, at half-past eight o’clock, in the parlors of the association. Members of the association are entitled to two (2) tickets each, which will admit self and gentleman friend. The leading professional and business men of the town will be represented in the course, and the members will doubtless be given much valuable advice that will help them in after life. Mr. Farquhar’s ability and large experience particularly fits him to speak on “Life,” which is his subject for tomorrow evening. Members can secure tickets at the general secretary’s office.
