To get to Hurtt Cemetery: travel north of U.S. Highway 27, cross over the New River Bridge and turn right onto the first road after you pass under the railroad overpass. Travel on this road for about 0.6 miles and bear right at the split in the road. Continue on this road until you come to a house. From here you have to walk to the cemetery. There are many graves marked by fieldstones. Submitted by Vernon Teaff.
