Sarah (Sally) Hurt was born October 10, 1783 in Virginia, to Moza and Mary Hurt. She married John Robins Hall by bond dated August 18, 1800 in Halifax County. Her brother, Reverend Robert Hurt, was surety on the bond. The couple moved to Carroll County, Tennessee. This info came from “The Early Hurt Family of Virginia” by Oscar H. Hurt and there doesn’t seem to be anything else about Sally.

9/24/97 More info submitted by Kathryn Broussard: John Robins Hall died in December 1849 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Sarah Hurt died after 1850. Known children are James H. Hall, Elizabeth W. Hall, and Martha M. Hall.
