Robert LeBlond born 1732 in London, married Elizabeth Chansac/Chansat/Chaugot in 1754 and had four children. He is my 6th great-grandfather.
Birth
Robert was born to parents Robert LeBlond and Madeleine Lormier on February 7, 1732, and was baptized on March 2, 1732, at the Artillery-French Huguenot, Spitalfields, London, England.
Marriage
Robert married French Protestant Elizabeth Chansac/Chansat/Chaugot on February 24, 1754, in Spitalfields, Middlesex, England.
Elizabeth was born in 1731 to parents Marie Madeleine Hanrot (born August 18, 1695, in London) and Francis Chansac (born about 1694 in Melle, Deux-Sevres, France) who were married in 1729 at La Patente, London.
Marie Madeleine Hanrot and Francois Chansac
They were married on August 12, 1728 in London.
The Hanrots are a well documented Huguenot family. Marie Madeleine Hanrot’s first marriage was to Isaac Le Doux in 1717 in London. They had three children. Isaac died between 1723-1729. Their son, Isaac Le Doux (junior) married Sarah Valet. Their daughter Hannah married William (Guillaume) Bernardin on August 19, 1762 at St Dunstan’s Church in Stepney. Elizabeth and Robert Le Blond signed the church register as witnesses to the marriage.
