The earliest LeBlond we have traced in our family line is Robert LeBlond who probably left France for London as a young boy around 1685/6.

Marriage

He married Elizabeth Mayeux/Mahjou on 5 May 1695 at St. Botolph Aldgate, London, England.

Children

Robert fathered five children, all of whom were baptized at Christ Church, Stepney, Spitalfields, London.

  1. ELIZABETH LeBlond. Born 19 Oct 1696.
  2. Marthe LeBlond. Born 23 Nov 1700.
  3. Robert LeBlond. Born 20 Nov 1702; died 1765.
  4. Guillaume LeBlond. Born 19 Apr 1705.
  5. Judith LeBlond. Born 20 Nov 1707.

I don’t know anything about the children other than Robert, who continues my line.

Death

Robert LeBlond died in 1712 or before, as his will, below, is dated that year. The rest of it is mostly unreadable to the modern person. But if you want to give it a shot, please do!
