We are lucky enough to be in a small pocket of an area that is completely free of deer in an area that is completely infested with deer. At least that’s what I used to think. Then this little cutie came ambling up the street, took a right into our yard and grazed her way up a grass path between our two new flower beds.

This is the only deer I’ve ever seen in our neighborhood. My hostas are grateful! Now if I could just get rid of the slugs…
